Ear Candy 4 Me

Ipod_018 got some ear candy today. two of the albums are kinda suspect. the first one Van Hunt - Van Hunt, i grabbed it because it made jb's top 10. i don't recall an album that has had such mixed reviews. the second piece that I pray is half as good as her first one is Esthero - We R in need of a musical ReVoLuTIoN. i hope she spent as much time on the six tracks as she did in spelling ReVoLuTIoN. i tried to figure out what it means. first lets take all caps RVLTIN = revolting. lowercase eouo = sh*t. what am i missing? only thing i see is that on the consonants are in caps in revolution. sh*t maybe it is revolting. if anyone knows get back @ me. anyway the reviews on this one are not mixed at all. most people are say it taste like straight doo doo. had to get it just off the way the first one melted in my ears. i also scooped up ZAP MAMA - Ancestry in Progress. i already had a compilation  with Bandy Bandy ft. Erykah Badu, love that song. the last one that i picked up was a tasty little piece called Gaelle - Transient. i've heard some of her cuts on radio blogs, yet i am just tasting the whole piece. loved the samples that i've tasted so far. i know i'm a little behind, but i'm ahead on some other sh*t. will give each piece it's own little review in a few. if you have    something that your feelin let me know so i can taste it.

Aya- Strange Flower (my mini review)

3.What is the song you last listened to before this message?

crazy monkey roll

if you live in Chicago area and like sushi defiantly check out RA Sushi. all i can say is sh*ts good. i liked the crazy monkey roll and sashimi assortment. if you are like me with kids and can't close down the city when u go out this is a great place to chill. the vibe is cool on Saturday nights. good music and they serve food late. i will post pictures taken there later.

b boy stance

Miles_020 it is mind boggling how much this kid of mine just oozes charisma and cockiness. miles is the perfect name for him. his love for music may be as great as mine. i think he will be more on the creative side than i. when we are listening to music he sways, gyrates, bops, nods, taps hands-knee-leg like someone well beyond his years. his ear for whats real and whats not is f*ckin freaky. if something to over the top or just plain garbage is played it leads to him either exits the room or turning off the tuner or this.  Miles_003_2

I'm Trippin R U?

there is no better invention than the itrip for my ipod. Carlas_019

i don't think i've played anything since getting the aya album.(aya - strange flower) i have played for the last three weeks straight and been the best f*ckin mood. this album is just plain feel good music. makes you want to fall back in love or in love, hold hands again, dance by yourself. maybe its just me. i'm going to put this as my album of the year now. it will take a monster of an album to budge it.
